On your first appointment a thorough history will be taken to aid treatment. Any injuries or complaints will be discussed before we provide treatment or care. In most cases treatment or care can be provided in this first consult. If more time is needed or special treatment procedure is deemed necessary you will be rebooked for this treatment. Our clients leave happy either way!

It is often helpful to bring common footwear worn to the initial appointment. This aids diagnosis and treatment and footwear recommendation commonly makes up part of the treatment advice.

Our podiatrists are highly qualified university graduates equipped to diagnose, treat and manage all foot, ankle and leg presentations. We are guided  by the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Board like any other medical practitioners.

Our COVID-19 action plan is detailed and recorded at reception and includes social distancing, infection control procedures, personal protective equipment and strict mandatory sanitization. It is mandatory for all our staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and the common flu at all times.

Prime Podiatry@Home is our full home visit service providing expert assessment, foot care and treatment in the comfort and safety of your own home. We also provide a mobile service to nursing homes and aged care facilities. Please enquire at our Noranda practice for more details.

Podiatry is fully covered for Veteran’s Affairs gold card holders. Medicare rebates also apply under the Enhanced Primary Care program. A referral from you General Practitioner is required in both cases.

Private health rebates can usually be claimed on the spot for all private health care funds with podiatry cover.
